HGCC 1:30 CBD. Day 63-ish. This my son’s medicine.
I rip a bong of it on occasion and it’s freaking amazing how my pain level drops, my concentration improves and I’m not hungry and NOT high. I eat about 200mg worth of it a day myself in a gummie.
Next project I’d like to undertake is pollinating an RQS’ Purplematic CBD Auto with some pollen I hope to collect from a run of regs of this. I’m just waiting on room. Gotta get the timing right and I should get a fast flowering, pretty CBD dominant at some point, huh?🤔 And why can’t growing non stoney meds look gorgeous too?!🤣 I can do that right? I just wanna make him powerful medicine that he can learn to appreciate the beauty of and grow for himself when I reach my expiration date.
Oh yeah… my son’s middle name is Stone.

I can’t take CBD but glad you’re having fun with these plants. The one time I did try CBD I ended up with very odd symptoms.

@ZoomyCat I ran one from another breeder that gave us all Super Munchies!! I think he put 25# on over the summer! It balanced him very well otherwise but could make him drowsy. That led me to the Purplematic and then this lady’s line, amongst others. I gifted about three pounds of the “hungry gummies” to my older neighbor and they put him to sleep, pain free and he wakes up and wants a huge breakfast! He wants more! 🤣 I feel really blessed to have found a couple of strains that are helping my boy and I’m so sorry they affect you poorly.

I’m glad you found a niche that works for you and your family. My brother is an EMT and he thought it gave me blood pressure issues. I got really dizzy and had to sit down because I felt like I was about to pass out. This was my first time trying a CBD dominant strain that was 16% CBD and less than 1% THC. I got it through a medical dispensary and it was a lesson for me.

@ZoomyCat I’ve heard of such! I always do an obscene amount before anyone else in the household and have been blessed, I suppose. Shockingly at my age and travels, I’ve never stepped foot in a dispensary, nor do I plan to. I give away most of what I grow to folks that shouldn’t have to darken their doors for those prices at the time they need their $ the most either. I’m not claiming I grow top shelf dispensary weed, but it’s pretty darn good! Even if I do trim like Helen Keller🤣
Now, I grew a couple Trainwrecks that were huge beautiful specimens. One was absolute fire. A little high strung I guess you could say. The other… even thinking about smoking it again gives me the heebee jeebees! Shit made me paranoid and shaky/cold. I gave a pound of it away to a guy three hours away so it didn’t wind up getting passed back to me in a joint here in town one night!😏 No joke. I won’t grow the strain again myself out of an abundance of caution. ⚠️ 🤣

@casadelwhacko The medical dispensaries were mail order only, I guess I’m talking the wrong term but it was LPO or something. Its been years since then. Right afterward the stores came across Canada and I just started buying there but the medicinal effects feel like its worse than the black market used to be. At least back in the black market days the people were someone you worked with or something like that. They listened to your issue and would end up coming out with some fire that helped what you needed.
You got better service from those people back then.

@ZoomyCat and that’s why I grow. I don’t trust the black market as much as I would trust Woody Allen to watch my kids and I won’t pay to take my chances on any plethora of “mitigated problems” that commercial companies are apparently allowed to get away with in both countries.

I’d hope you’ve tried various strains over the years and wager a pound you could have no issue with at least a few CBD dominant strains. They help motivate most folks WAY better in my experience too, it seems. My son has been “uncased” if you will, since beginning his CBD journey with autism and it’s been astounding to everyone his life. He’s graduating a year ahead of his age group with an amazing record over his past two, all over one year. I love getting high and smoke entirely too much by most people’s standards… Hell, @plant_daddy told me just today I’d get way more exercise if I’d weigh down both my bongs and could do curls simultaneously as much as I have one in my hands!!🤣
Really, my recent focus on breeding is to help nudge the benefits of it towards making a plants available that will eventually help kids without them being stoned. Little girls suffer through period pains during the school day too…
I grew up smoking my uncles seed ridden homegrown Panama Red in the early eighties 🤣I was lucky enough to “fall in with the wrong crowd” throughout the nineties as a touring musician and engineer and usually got to see what I was going to be smoking in a couple months. I even tried to avoid even brick weed most of my life. It’s not snobbery, I don’t feel. It’s like meat. If I don’t slaughter and prepare it, we don’t eat it. I guess it’s just an old banged up crazy southern Polynesian Hebrew thing!🤣 You get to be my age and the number of “niches” you find turn into what look like nicks on the headboard in a whores bedroom.🤣
