Not sure how true it is but a buddy was telling em clones don’t go against your count now they can be considered hemp with sending them in the mail. 🤷 I would ask a lawyer. As far as making seeds you can get somthing similar. But it will be hard to get the exact one depending on what genetic you want to save. Some genetics that are not as far along like a f2 would be less likely. If you have some beans that are f7s or around their you would have a better chance. You could always keep some spair seeds in a bank of your own. Then just clone the one you have. However that could even not be the same. It’s all a gamble but such is life.

  • I used old shop lights for years. Not good for flowering but does the job for veg if your on a budget. When I used this method I would flower my plants outdoors.

So consider this. I was told that the amber color comes from the light sorce you have. Somtimes folks who grow indoors will experience their plant not taking on amber and show other signs it’s ready to harvest like foxtailing, swollen calyx or bracts, and or yellowing leaves. They pointed out some of Frenchies teachings on his website that talk about harvesting at the peak of maturity by looking at the Calyx and Bracts. They will swell up like fruit. Some even think a seed is in it but their won’t be. Looking at the plant as a whole rather then just the trichomes I feel is the biggest message they had. Definitely look at the tricomes but also look at the rest of the plant too. If we are looking at the tricomes however if you see the heads falling off or poping then the plant is overdone. I believe the stems of the tricomes may be a better indicator on how close you are to harvest then the color.

I only trim my stash when I’m about to smoke it. Otherwise I do what’s called a farmers trim. I only cut off the big leaves and leave the rest. In my environment it helps alot with the process because it’s so dry here. This also helps protect the tricomes on the bud.
