Finishing off your plants….
Anyone here lower their tent temps the last few days before chop? Was thinking about how winter frost works and I know many of us grow in “cycles” that mimic the outside. That led to me thinking about lowering from 75ish down to a 72 avg to mimic the fall like weather. What are your thoughts , interested to see if anyone else takes this approach.

I went from 75-85° down to 62-75° in week 8
First indoor grow here though. Would love to hear more on this.

Winter Frost induces ethylene production in the plant. Ethylene inhibits chlorophyll production, leaf and stem growth. It has nothing to do with temperature. Lower temps slow overall growth. If color is what you want, get colorful genetics.

@jmystro ya man my questions are based on sending the correct signals to the plant that it’s fall and time to wind down, not about the colors of the genetics getting expressed.

That’s ethylene and Winter Frost has ethylene precursors.
