another angle…. 3 gallon pots with coco and grow dots. hand water, water only, get a crop under your belt, get the environment dialed in ect. Then each grow you can add automatic watering or try Cana nuts ect. keep it simply to start.
3 gallon pots with grow dots puts my autos on automatic, to easy. its like cheating.

my two cents, no to topping unless height is an issue. like there tent is 3 foot tall. coco and grow dots for the win here. small amount of dots into a solo, plant and move 1 time to final container with grow dots in there. maybe 1 to 2 weeks in cup and move it. from there its water only to finish line…

2 months agoAsk a Grow Question 2 months agoheating a tent question. I am using a ceramic reptile heater for a 2×4. seems to be working fine, anyone have a reason not to use these? i might be missing something here. very cheap solution i have it mounted to a gear board so it isn’t touching anything as far as fire hazard

i like the root riot plugs (rubber dirt) they work well. i like the idea of trying several methods. please let us know your findings
