I soak in water for 14-18 hours then I put in a wet paper towel on a saucer and cover with plastic wrap. Keep in a dark warm place, should see sprouts in 1-14 days depending on the seeds. Check often, when you see tap roots about 1/4 to 1/2 inch they are ready to plant. I have a very high success rate. If they are older seeds you can soak in a 1% hydrogen peroxide and water solution instead of pure water.
