I use an aqua pots water system. I have 2 6.6 gallon buckets, coco for the media, with a 12 gallon water reservoir. Im thonking about switching to grow dots and recharge. From my understanding the grow dots are mixed with the soil prior to planting. Will this be an issue since aqua pots water from the bottom? I also would like to know if… Read more

I add my recharge on top. I wait until the reservoirs are low and pour it on. Give it an hour or two then top off the reservoir. The hour or two is for the soil to drain a bit so you don’t have excess coming in after getting your reservoir to the overflow. Just my 2 cents. I have just adopted this system and I’m really liking the ease and growth
