Probably going to be the best addition to the garden to date. Instal was hella easy just a few more lines to hook up and I’ll be throwing out the window units !
YeahNahOk, Shortlife and 5 others-
I’ve been looking into a unit like those instead of a window unit. Just a little out of reach just like the terraform at the moment. All DIY easy hook up and ready to roll or does it need to be charged?

@SurferDad_grows Mini splits come pre-charged for a certain length of line. If you have to add line, you’ll have to add refrigerant. Otherwise, ready to roll…

@LoboGrow that’s what I thought, just had to make sure. Thanks bro.

I had to do the same thing myself six months ago. My old mini split had a coolant leak.
I am in prohibition land, so it is impossible to get an Ac repairman over and here it is impossible to purchase the coolant without the correct license that only AC companies have.
I had to rip out my old Mini split and buy a whole new one.
That came with recharged lines so I could install it myself.
Sucks, but at lest the new one is Wi-Fi enabled, so in the end it was a very useful upgrade.

What was the model and price? < $2000? I see more mini splits on the market, now self installable. Very tempting!
