I object, your honor, crisper editied genes are geneticaly modified organisms by default. The industry is trying to greenwash itself with a new definition, but gmo’s are not only the result of trans-genic fuckery, but are always produced with high tech devices in a lab with the help of computers. When there is no sexual reproduction involved in breeding, it is corporate fuckery, if they won’t breed true and if they have patent rights applied, that is theft. This ojection is purely about dichotomy and has nothing to do with the worthiness of the said fuckery. The sad part is that our society has no more room for real plant breeding, just let the computer do it right? Wrong. Robots and extelligence are going to make us useless.
