I’m considering moving to coco. So now I’m wondering about reusing coco. Buffering bricked coco sounds like a royal PITA and bagged stuff is pricey. Sounds like the coco can be reused. Does it need to be buffered with each use or just the first time?

In between cycles you should wash and rebuffer your coco. It will serve your crop best. Also know after a run coco will degrade and compact so like use it for a few runs add some in and squeeze a fourth run. Then start fresh. In hawaii coco is expensive so they use enzymes and o2 in between runs and add coco as well to get 5+ runs out of it
