• Flapjacks from inhouse genetics

  • The plant on the right here has been flowering since 7/1. It seems to have quit stretching and the leaves have turned to yellow/purple weeks ago. My issue is that I have not seen much coloration change in the trichomes.

    Would you continue to flower or would you chop?

    • She’s getting there. When the trichomes turn millky they will stop sparkling and look opaque like sugar was dumped on her. She should be ready within a week or so.

      • I appreciate the replies, fellas! I’ll leave her be. My main concern was just how quickly the leaves turned vs the trichomes. I am in no hurry to harvest, just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

          Close buddy. If you can get serious magnification you can actually zoom in to see how full those trichome cuticles are (how much resin is in them). Frenchie Cannoli would sometimes let his flower amber out as high as 70% to obtain the maximum amount of resin for hash production. These days most rosin makers will pull it very close to what you…
