a week agoGrow Talk a week agoHowdy, new here. I was just listening to the podcast with chad westport and they were talking about non 24 hour days and how to time your lights. I would think with an ac infinity controller you could run your lights on a cycle instead of a shedule. It could get wierd trying to time your plant care when the lights are at different times daily.

I’ve done this with cycle timers creating 18 hour days. 7 on, 11 off cycles. I’ve also done 6 on, 12 off cycles with even less yield. More light (DLI), more yield. You can save weeks of time at the cost of yield. Doing the math over a year is a wash. Not worth it under normal circumstances. Only real reason to do it would be if you’re moving…

Gotta love you local hydro store! What a surprise I was greeted with when I went to mine today. I live in prohibition land too so I wasn’t expecting this. Although I should’ve because he also carries Grow Dots and Recharge that I’ve got from there before.
