Has anyone tried using shortened light cycles such as 9 on / 3 off and 6/6 for flower. I’m an old guy and I seem to remember some of the growers talking about it back in the day. Thanks

I’m not super sure what you mean but I think you’re talking about gas lighting. An old technique to save on power where you just run everything on 12/12 but in your veg you do 12 on 4 or 5 off then an hour or to on then back off it save you on power but can be risky with unstable genetics. I’ve never done it but knew a few people that did with some success
