I’d be concerned about PH? I read vinegar is between 2-3 PH and there are better PH down alternatives, IMHO. What benefit might you foresee?

      • I have been using vinegar as my ph down. Works really well. Saves me a lot of money and turns into something the plants can use

I was nervous trying it but it works

I also use vinegar to kill weeds and bugs in garden outside

        Have a good day

        Wow

        • I’ll just say I would never put vinegar on my cannabis plants, I actually use a vinegar and water solution to kill weeds at my house instead of pesticide and it kills them very well! If I were to use anything for acidity it would be lemon juice

Vinegar isn’t a good stable ph down it’ll swing, I use wood vinegar ( not for Ph) different to normal vinegar tho it’s technical name is Activated Char Condensate

            • It’s recommended to add to well water from the tap. Most well water is a little high in ph which will lower your ph as well as convert your carbonates like calcium which tend to be high in well water and convert it to an acetate which your plant can then readily take up instantly. Plants do not pick up nutrients in carbonate form and instead…

          • Should I consistently feed my girls everyday in COCO , or is it just strain dependent?

So I’m definitely no pro, at all, but I’m growing in coco for the first time, and I feed synthetics every watering except for if I water on Saturday/Sunday is and I water in between a 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of recharge. Do not PH it, just watered in!! So far I’m loving the coco, if the flavor is good, there will be no going back! Good luck! (edited for spelling)

What does the nute manufacturer chart say? I used to go heavy feeding every watering and came to realize after several runs that I could have easily cut that in half and still gotten good results. Its all about balance of what they will take up and just requires watching the plant, not necessarily the strain. I now run Canna A&B in autopots…

Yes you should be, depending on what nutrients your running tho. With most coco specific nutrients you run nutes every watering and water till 10-20% run off

I start them off at 1/4 dose with canna coco and step them upto 1/2 dose in veg, from there it’s strain dependant on how much more they’ll like… some like more but most are pushing it at half dose

                • Has anyone ever experienced a feminized photoperiod, flower due to much direct sunlight in result causing stress and signals her to flower before she withers away as a last ditch effort to try and reproduce? One of my giant photos look as if she started to flower under 16-18 hours of light, most of the day it’s direct sunlight. Now looks as if…

                  • The only time I experienced this was from moving a vegging plant from indoors to outdoors

                    1
                    • It flipped to flower a month after I moved it outdoors then after 5-6 weeks it decided it wanted to go back into veg

                    • Same thing happened to me last summer, lights in the tent was at 18\6, didn’t pay enough attention and when I transferred girls outside the day light hours not at peak of summer, so I lost 2 1\2 hrs. Of daylight. I thought that mine looked herm, neighbor helped turn that into hash, best choice it was 👍
