There’s been a lot of talk about UV recently. Just curious but would letting some sunlight in be as affective? I realize moving in and out might be an issue but what about a window?? Just thinking out loud…

Out here in Florida dispensaries they started doing sun+lights. I’m not sure how much sun they actually use but I’m guessing they have skylight windows during veg or something

Yes letting in sun for uv would be just as (or more) effective at specific intervals, but tbh unless you’re light depping in a greenhouse already, it would be way too much of a hassle and potentially a problem. Light through glass can block out the UV. UVB rays, the primary sunburn ray, are largely blocked by glass; but more than 50 percent of UVA rays are getting in. I use the Migro uvb bar (2nd run) and observationally thicker more robust trichomes head and cuticle.
