This is my grow , 4×4 bed , living soil, sub irrigation with my homemade wicking system, just curious if grow dots would work in something like this because I do not water from the top, the light is an HLG 750 Diablo

That’s an interesting design. I like it. Have you done a bed like that before, just curious as to how well that works?
I made a 27gal self wicking trying it out before going bigger if I do but just 5 points of bottom absorption. It’s for a few veggies this trial.

@SurfDad_grows yes, it works well, sometimes I can go almost 2 weeks without watering, plants seem to love it, my last run was in a 3×3 bed, ( had 3 grows in same soil ) the last grow i got 32 oz out of 4 Strawberry Gorilla from Fastbuds

@Thepineguy nice bro. That’s kinda why I wanted to try a bed and do dry amendments like an outdoor garden but indoor and start building up the media starting with veggies.

If it wicks, I don’t see why growdots wouldn’t work with that thing. It’s the same principle as bottom feeding and sub irrigation pots/Real Buckets.
That’s pretty cool though man!!!
