I started the grows in the Vgrows about a week ago and had one of the Mephisto 3 Bears OG goof itself up due to a defective Jiffy Pellet. Never had that happen before, but I should have known something was wrong when the pellet was about an 1/8 inch shorter than the other pellets.
When the seed sprouted, the tap root hit a solid piece of clay or dry section in the middle of the pellet and it looked like it tried to go the other way and basically wrapped itself around the seed. Anyway, I pulled the pellet and germinated another 3 Bears seed and planted straight into the pot. The Ethos seed has grow dots in the bottom third in the coco.
