Has anyone tested the photone app against a good freshly calibrated ppfd meter and what were your results? I feel like my photone app says the lights are a lot higher then they really are and I feel my plants are a little more stretchy then they should be. These ladies are clones and I vegged them for 10 weeks because I don’t have an extra room for drying so I have to dry in my flower area. They are just ending week 2 of flower and these things are getting out of control. So long story short I don’t think I’m giving them enough light but I don’t want to blast them and burn them so I’m hoping someone here has some decent data on the photone vs. Ppfd meter. Thank you for any help in advance and happy growing! 🤘

You may need to calibrate it. https://growlightmeter.com/guides/how-to-calibrate-photone/

Also, your phone makes the difference. If you are on android, the app is not accurate. If you have a later model iPhone, it is very accurate. (I have iPhone 13 Pro)
It works well with paper, but I ordered their diffuser for the phone. Best purchase I’ve made in 10 years.
Oh yeah, and I have a Quantum PAR meter. It’s a pain to use. I checked the accuracy of the app myself, and mine was only a few points off. For instance, the Quantum PAR meter would read 807 while the PHOTONE app read 800. That is extremely good for an app to be that close to a $500 (on sale) Quantum PAR meter. Seven points is nothing.
MIGRO on YouTube has a video where he tests the PHOTONE app against his equipment. Check it out.
