a week agoGrow Talk I made a quick and dirty video on how and why to calibrate your hygrometers for anyone who is new to the idea. It’s very important to do this process as I have found most to be off at least by a little from the factory.
Here are the offsets:
If your room temp is 68f (20c) – your humidity should read 75.5%
If your room temp is 71f (21c) – your humidity should read 75.4%
If your room temp is 73f (23c) – your humidity should read 75.3%
If your room temp is 77f (25c) – your humidity should read 75.3%
If your room temp is 86f (30c) – your humidity should read 75.1%

I forgot to mention I usually let it sit for 8-12hrs before I do the offsets. Some people do as much as 24hrs but I found that gets me there.
