I’m responsible for it. It’ll probably be quite some time before I’m able to replace it. Definitely the last time I ever order anything close to that price online around the holidays! Might just have to DIY something and pray that it’ll work out.

Thanks man! Yeah it really sucked the holiday spirit right out of me. Not sure when I’ll be able to get it replaced. Thanks for the info on what works best for you though! I’m definitely going to be using the solo cup and then probably move it to a 3gal. Still unsure if I want to run autos or not.. since I’d be able to have more than 1 auto going at time in the same tent.

Thanks for your input! I was really hoping I’d hear from someone that planted in 5gal straight from germ. so I could ask how they held up and how the yield was.

I’m completely new to growing, but have been a cannabis enthusiast since 16(now 32). I have the slightest clue about genetics, but would you be able to explain to a newbie about the “F” type seeds? Isn’t an F1 where pollen from the male pollinates a female plant? In short, generations of the mother strain? The higher the #, the more generations, is that correct? And then you can back cross to increase vitality?

I think I’m gonna read up some more and then decide. Now you’ve got me leaning towards autos because I’d love a quick turnaround. I want to be as involved in the process as much as possible, so I don’t think I’ll be doing any auto watering. Although, I wouldn’t mind using grow dots so I don’t mess up the newts. I definitely want to use coco w/ perlite so I can reuse my media to eliminate the need to dispose of soil. I’m still undecided on what I want to do for additional newts. I’m assuming the pheno I choose will help determine what kind/how much nutrition I’ll be using.

Thanks! I think I’m going to do fem/regular for my very 1st grow, and then try an auto on my 2nd or 3rd grow depending on my results and confidence.

Thanks a milly for the insight! I definitely understand what you’re saying. I’m leaning towards fem/regular so I can have a little more forgiveness since it’ll be my 1st grow, and the fact I can keep it in veg for as long I deem fit seems like a huge benefit as well!
