I am a retired special educator. Animal lover, and husband. I started growing out of neccessity. I suffer from Ankylosing Spondalitis. Its an auto-imune disorder that attacks my spine and joints, eventually fuzing the bones and joints. Unfortunatly my Sciatic nerve has fuzed in my sacroiliac joint. Fires any time my SI joint moves/shifts. I did not want to take the medication (opioids) to ease the pain. So I entered the home grow community. Cannabis is amazing. Not only do i rely on it for my medicine, but i have found maintaining a garden has become my new job. I have begun to dip my toes into breeding recently. Growing has become my saving grace. Keeps my mind and body active. Growing my medicine, and medicine for others in my circle of care has become my misson now. Still able to fulfill my life’s work helping others.
