2 months agoFungi Who uses a casing layer? Who doesnt? And why? I would put a casing layer in my shoebox tek, but find I would sometimes get contamination regardless. Im trying two shoeboxes without one right now, so far so good.

I use a light pseudo casing layer after my substrate has colonized with mycelium and it helps with the pinning in my experience!
