I’ve tried it a couple times and I’d suggest using a genetic that you’re familiar with and know the exact finishing time then count back for your start time

I make a lot of RSO and I usually use 190 proof grain alcohol to wash the flower about 3/4 a fifth to an oz of flower.. then simmer it down in a bowl using an electric skillet at about 160 F When it’s close to being done it’ll start bubbling or foaming up the product is going to set thicker when it’s cooled .
After jarring it up i clean the bowl with the 190 and save that leftover for the next batch.. nothing is wasted that way… I’ve thought about building a small still to reclaim the alcohol also but haven’t went any farther with that idea yet

Are you feeding it high nitrogen still or maybe feed it some bloom to trigger it… could be a male is it tall and straight stemmed

call the power and see if they can give you an estimated power on time for starters,, then open the tents and some windowblinds an let the sun shine in

get a fan for air movement ( I’m not seeing one in your pic )and if you don’t have a tent a large cardboard box lined with aluminum foil will work to make the most of what light you have…

I grow a strain that turns a light flesh tone when finished and that’s usually 2 to 3 weeks past the stated finish time .. with that said there will be some darker ones inside the buds

Not sure if you’re in a position to collect rain water but if so it far better than any tap water ,, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do I understand that…
