After 4 years of almost continuous use my cheap box fan in the Veg room has died 😹

RIP. $20 box and oscillating fans are what I use and replace as needed. Box fans are used up high as dedicated cooling for lights while oscillating fans are down low for strengthening plants. The front shroud is always removed to allow for weekly blade cleaning as I’m not a clumsy fuck who needs protection.

This one mainly blew across the veg lights and helped air flow in veg. The plants still have a fan on them for air movement so no need to rush out and replace this one asap.

A friend of mine didn’t use a fan to cool his LEDs and had diodes burning out within the first 2-3 years. I’ve always actively cooled my LEDs and have had them run until they were replaced with more efficent lights. The low pro SKs have been in the veg and flower rooms for about 6 years. I want to replace them soon but yields have not gone down. Yet.

I mount them to a strip of plywood that hangs from adjustable chain to raise and lower with lights.

Only thing the AC Infinity setup didn’t come with was a box fan so that was fixed.
