In dry ass Colorado I would water just before harvest so I could extend hang time to about 2 weeks. It is really all relative to what environment you have ready for your drying time to go into. I like mid 60’s for temp and humidity. I know not always possible with the environment you have to work with, but ya need at least 10 days to hang for best terps!

If they need it they get it. No sense ruining all that hard work. Yes they’re going to get dried but you don’t want it happening prematurely.
