Good morning @dgc ! My grow question is how long will it take for my self seed project (first time), seeds take to fully develop and mature? Same amount of time as flower takes to fully mature or should I let her go longer?(fully amber trichs?) Mother is in another tent right beside her with positive pressure so hopefully I dont suck in any pollen and affect mama. Pics of where Im/ she is at currently.
odbudz, RASUFA and 5 others-
I usually let mine go full term, plus. The more mature the easier I find to harvest the seeds,

Thanks, definitely makes sense!

Do top bud seeds mature faster than lower sites?

I would guess yes because of light penetration?

Seeds generally take longer than ripe flower. But if you harvest at peak flower maturity you will get some mature seeds. Not as many as if you let it go another couple weeks. As for which ones mature faster the sun will surely have something to do with it but I believe it is more about when the stigma actually accepts pollen and begins germination. They don’t all start at once.

5 or 6 weeks after pollenisation you can pluck one out and inspect it, but she knows what to do, let her grow them beans a long time for sure

I have four clones growing seed, but they got so much pollen that i was freakin at the buds just bursting calyxes, will see how they finnish, they look a bit better now, buds seems to have stretched out a little to addapt, also dont lag on nitrogen, all seeds need it

That addresses my other question on nutes, thanks man!
