• Trainwreck on the left, front and rear. First one I’ve just let go with zero training. Its not too unruly but it is “floppy.” The one I topped not only has tighter spacing and more bud sites forming, naturally, but it is a more robust and hard stalk as well. Interesting to see the difference in expression and what effects training can have…

    • Are both the train wrecks from the same mother plant or are they from seeds? Because if they are from seeds they are 2 different plants and will grow differently!

    • Lots going on and a few about to finish. The topped Trainereck is in coco and the amazon chick behind her I have left alone and put in 5 gallons of soil. She is going to test my height limits unless I grab a net for the 4×4. Everything in Canna nutes is frosty as all fuck!! Cracked a couple of RQS OG Kush, a couple of Blimburn Bubblegum…

Hey! Fellow coco growers! I’m just about to wrap up my first grow in Canna and I’m looking at recycling my coco. What’s the scoop? I see I can sift and clean then add Cannazym, but i’m not finding a ratio to water or a process anywhere. I always reuse my soil after a three month sit aside and reammendment. I’m guessing I’ll need to buffer it…

      • I made a large strainer using to 5gal. Buckets and a lid for the bottom one. Drilled small drainage holes in the lid and the bottom of one bucket. I put used coco in the top bucket. Use garden hose to wash. I have a large tarp I put the coco on to dry and get baked by the sun.

add my amendments and use again.

        I believe I saw where Jeremy has…

        • Personally, I use the lazy technique. I simply cut out the stem and plant directly into the same pot with the next plant. Then I repeat this process until the coco gets broken down into peat and then I mix it with some fresher coco and keep going.

I don’t wash it because it gets leeched of most nutrients at the end of flower.

          i only had to throw…

          • I’m pretty lazy about reusing my coco too. I shake out the rootball getting most of the coco into a big plastic tub, pick out any big chunks… and repot. Becuse coco will compact/ break down over time, I always add at least 25% fresh coco. First thing I do when planting in it, is to give it a healthy dose of Recharge. That’s the only…
