AERO CLONERS!!! Sometimes I love mine and sometimes I want to throw it out the window. I do everything the same each time yet, sometimes I have roots in 5-7 days and sometimes it’s weeks or they just don’t ever root. What’s the trick that I only pull off subconsciously?

Biggest thing for aeorcloner success is sanitization between runs… Gotta kill all pathogens…Hypochlorous acid works great and doesn’t eat your rings and neoprene collars over time like regular bleach will, but bleach works, too.
I throw all components into the cloner and fill it with water then add a half cup of hypochlorous or bleach.…

Came here to say the same. Cleaning and temps are key. If it rots before it gets a chance to root your gonna have a hard time.

I upgraded my air pump as well as doing what @Hash said.
This last time I added a 1/4 teaspoon of recharge to the reservoir. I’m not sure if it made a difference on successful roots or not but I definitely see more vigor in their growth at the start.3 -
Water temp and moisture levels around stem affect root formation. An over-saturated stem will take weeks for roots to form. I prefer to clone in a media like rockwool where any excess moisture can be squeezed out. I always get 100% success in 4-8 days depending on the genetics.

Only issue I see is that THC doesn’t boil off until 160 Celsius and that’s under vacuum. When I ran an extraction lab, distillation was the most involved process we did.
