sunny posted an update
I feel like I still have a week minimum outside. What do you think? Every year I try to go longer. But no matter what I do I always feel like I took it down too soon. I’m not confident.

Where you located? Here in central MN we will have a pretty cold Tuesday morning like 28 but I’m my fence in yard in going to let them ride. I’m your hoop house I’d think you’d be good down to 25 at least. We have already had a frost but it was only like 30.5 degrees and didn’t even touch plants taller than grass.

Looks beautiful! I like to use a cheap little magnifying glass // jewlers loop to check the trichromes. I usually harvest around 5-20% amber, depending on the strain

@twoarrows_ Thanx buddy! I try to watch the heads but seems like outside they take forever!!!!! So I honestly am just looking for a ripe “looking” bud. Do they look ripe from a distance?

The top right picture on my phone looks fine to harvest. The other plants or buds need a week or more it’s looking like

Old dude that grew weed around my hood quote “better harvesting 2 weeks late than 2 days early” as long as you’re not worried about bud rot or some type of fungus there is no risk in letting her ride.

@frogslayer yeah, that sounds about right. I’m not worried about any mold right this minute…… you know how that shit goes . One minute everything’s fine and then one minute everything is not fine lol. We just had our first rain in months last night. But the moisture won’t stick around long. So I don’t really even need to fret on that. Let her ride.
