My Achilles’ heel… Sharpening my chains. So I got this fancy thing. Does anyone have any opinions on it? I have ruined a lot of chains in the past with my horrible handiwork…

I wish you were just up the road! The 80 year old dude next door, whose “kid” is my “one guy” spent his life sharpening EVERYTHING! He just aches for someone to bring him something dull. He got ahold of my grandfathers straight razor he received in a kit after liberation from the camps in Germany, and he restored it to its mirror like greatness and it would cut God.

@Casadelwhacko You and me, both! There are so many people that are so incredibly talented in the arts of living that want to share it. Unfortunately, none of them live by me lol. I am glad you take advantage of his skill.

How did you fair with that contraption?

Holy shit! The jury is in. This is a absolute miracle for people with hands like mine. It allows you to use both hands instead of one . My hands are nothing but painful weird looking knots. This tool has now allowed me to not depend on Randy to do my sharpening. It was very fast and it is also handling the depth setter. Fucking awesome.
