The Enoki mushroom seed spawn is fully colonized. It is time to make the substrate and let them colonize that. I took 1kg of oak sawdust from my shop vac and let it sit outside while keeping it moist so it would start to decompose a bit. 250g of Wheat bran and 1.6L of water to reach field capacity. Then it’s off to the pressure cooker (barely fit) for 2 hours. Once it cools, I’ll inoculate it with the Enoki seed spawn.

Nice! Do you also do Lions Mane?

I have not, but they are on my “Grow List” Space is my biggest issue. I read that they’re not too difficult to grow. If you can grow oysters, you will be fine with lions mane.

Lions manes super easy . I bought this kit off ebay . It was a self contained box . I got several harvest off it . Those pink oysters look super cool also. I would like to try those
