Hey guys, first time grower here so don’t give me too much crap for blowing money on the heyabby. I’ve learned a ton from it even tho it doesn’t perform as advertised. I’m going on vacation soon and when I return I’m buying a few tents to hopefully start a perpetual grow. I’m looking at vivosun products as they are more affordable for what I’m looking to do. Any suggestions welcome.

      • They make good tents and accessories. My advice is pick a brand and stick with it. That way everything works together.

I bought just a few cheap tents on Amazon, I personally think all the tents are pretty great, but it does depend how you use them, and how much space you need. Maybe look into the real buckets, especially for taking vacations, those seem to be the way to go. I personally don’t use them but I would if I were to ever actually take a vacation. There are other cheaper ways, but I’d rather spend the extra cash for peace of mind ✌️

          • I started with one of the mars hydro 4×4 kits that came with light and all for my first set up. When got thru Amazon could get it and make payments on it for the next year vs a large lump sum. My idea was it was good enough equipment to get me growing and i could build off of that as time went on. I will say opt for one with more than one door depending on size. The 4×4 i have only has one large door so makes it hard to get into the back corners.

              • I have the vivosun 4×3 all in one, it is fine for veg. However I am worried about the light leaking through the seams on the zipper. It came with a 100 watt light witch is enough for the 1×3 veg compartment but the separation panel doesn’t seal light tight. Instead of trying to make it light tight, I am using the whole tent for flower. I would (as a 1st timer also) go for the ac infinity 4×4 or 5×5 advanced tent with the upgraded light. It is more$, but it has EVERYTHING you want for flower and I’ve seen some fantastic things done with the Evo lights from ac

                  • I started with a Spider Farmer 2×4 kit. I quickly learned that I needed another tent to start a new grow while the 2×4 was being used as a dry tent.

I decided to get the AC Infinity 4x4x80 kit. Bought it through Amazon as they offered a payment program. I like the AC Infinity products. Buy once, cry once.

Mars hydro was good but not excellent. All 3 have great products. But don’t be ashamed of buying that product. They’ve got a ton of people with it. Also speaking from experience. Get a 4×4 if you can.
