Adding UV with a 72 hour dark period ?
Has anyone tried adding UV and running a 72 dark period for the last three days ?

I used to. I tried Rasta Jeff’s schedule and had better results.

Well Rasta Jeff was saying what 18/6 for the last 10 -14 days ? I mean run Rasta Jeffs 18/6 and then at end run 72 dark with UV lighting ., either A or B . My thoughts are one guy said that Rasta Jeffs 18/6 bulks the plant for final harvest . Anouther person said leaving it 72 hours increases the trichrome production and anouther person said UV creates sunscreen for the plant. I was wondering if you could use those three in conjunction with each other to possibly not only increase the trichrome production and bulk it but wouldnt the UV increase the terepenes if its making a sunscreen of sorts ?

@tjrez I do use UV throughout flower, on a schedule. I’ve started increasing the intensity but moving them farther away and just blast them for the last 48 hours straight with a bit too much water in the pot. Seemed to increase trichs at the last minute. I’ve got one coming to the line next week, I’ll try this.

Putting a plant in the dark before putting it in the dark makes no sense.

I couldnt figure it out either. People who it has worked for say it stresses the plant . In this case it wouldnt be in the dark for 72 hours but more like light deprived as the plant would still be getting UV for the last 3 days
