Inoculated my substrate with the Enoki mushrooms today. 2x bags 1450g each added about 50g of seed spawn
Substrate: 1kg oak sawdust(aged wood and left to start decomposing for 2 weeks) 250g wheat bran and 1.5L water.

That’s just some…blue oysters 😜 I’ve found most species of mushrooms start out well on bird seed as spawn even the outdoor wood lovers.

Drying Temperature and Humidity
I’m in central Minnesota and the humidity the last couple of days has been 85%+. I have ac entering my lung room through the house vents and a portable unit in the room as well. Each tent has a Vivosun 2200ml mini inside (they only kick on above 60% anyways)and an ACI T3 humidifier. I also have a 50 pint whole house unit in the lung room as well…

The Enoki mushroom seed spawn is fully colonized. It is time to make the substrate and let them colonize that. I took 1kg of oak sawdust from my shop vac and let it sit outside while keeping it moist so it would start to decompose a bit. 250g of Wheat bran and 1.6L of water to reach field capacity. Then it’s off to the pressure cooker…

Lions manes super easy . I bought this kit off ebay . It was a self contained box . I got several harvest off it . Those pink oysters look super cool also. I would like to try those

Came a long way. The left is a top cola from the MAC #1 by Blimburn Gold, the middle is some bag seed I grew 4 years ago, my first plant on a window sill and the right one is a top cola from the Pineapple Express by Barney’s Farm. Such a difference when you have proper genetics and proper environment.
