    • Is that an old leaf? Do you use Cal mag?

      • Has that plant been overwatered in the past? Or underwater after being overwatered? Roots die if there’s damage. And it takes a minute of the right conditions for the routes to get back in shape. I also wonder if the rotting roots create pH differences?

        • Looks like a calcium deficiency to me. If in soil, try some crushed oyster shell or dolomite lime with recharge or some sort of mycelium to help break ut down faster. If in coco or another hydro definitely need to start a cal mag nute. Calcium is a non mobile mineral so that leaf won’t recover but need to make sure it doesn’t spread.

        • Hi sunny I wouldn’t say it is an old leaf no nearer to the top of the plant also only 3 leafs with it . First time growing with canna Coco 30%perlite and jacks 3,2,1 nutrients. Plant did get a little dry yesterday and gave it a good but not excessive watering with a little extra calcium nitrate as looked like a calcium deficiency, I’m used…

            • Check on the underside of the leaf for bugs. Looks sort of like something sucking life out. Anyway I get something like this on some of the older bottom leaves. The rest of the plant seems ok so not sure. Adding some info on your media and nutrition program will help ppl in diagnosing the problem. 😉

              • Could be the start of a calcium deficiency I need to take a look at the whole plant also to make a definitive determination! I don’t know if you’re still in Veg or in the middle of flowering with just the picture of the brown spots starting and not enough information in the question?

                • I would prob rule out a cal def. That is usually smaller speckled orange spots. Rust is a fungus and is airborne. If it is a fungus you could increase air circulation to maybe keep it from landing on other plants.
