• What’s everyone’s preference for curing flowers? Mason Jars Grove Bags C-Vaults or something else? Im thinking about trying the Grove Bags after watching the James Loud podcast episode with Lance from TerpLoc? I’ve been using mason jars for the past 25 years or so and maybe a couple of 2-3 gallon paint buckets with airtight lid’s hear and there!

      • Been doing the same after listening to scotty real, 3 gal buckets with screw on gasketed lids after roughly 14 day as close to 60°/60%, usually averages 63° summer daytime. Leave the roll cages on the buds untill removed, trimmed then into mason jars till consumed or handed out.

        • Airtight buckets inside a big cooler.

          • I’m doing vacuum sealed mason jars for my first grow.

            • I’m really liking the Grove Bags, No burping required. I’ve been getting a great cure with them and the bud stays dank over long storage times. The downside is that they are disposable and plastic….which is a bummer.

              • Grove bags hands down… and they’re reusable.

                • I like glass. I have used mason jars , but I think I am going to try and find some large glass jars. Like gallon size so burping will be easier. Less lids

                  • I use jars but sometimes i run outta jars and have to use plastic bags.

                    • I like the amber half gallon mason jars. Unless I have too much. Then it’s a bucket

                      • @marizema I’m going to look for the amber glass mason jars and give them a shot with some terploc grove bags and my clear mason jars side by side and see if there’s any difference between them in the finished product?

                        • @wrath420 cool I got them off Amazon. I swear they make a difference during storage over clear jars.

                          • @marizema I can see them making a difference because they don’t let the light degrade the terpenoids and cannabinoids as quickly as a clear jar would! The flavor and potency are going to last longer with the amber jars I’m thinking?

                        • I use mason jars but the grove bags are getting good reviews..

                          • Yes they are!

                            • Have any of you small batch guys rigged up a wine fridge? I think. That would be the shit on a few ounces

                              • I typically dry in the same tent I grow in. After dry I trim and put in grove bags for about 2 months in a closet with the door open slightly and a small fan circulating are slowly. After that I place into jars and vacuum seal with metal lids and place in a 60 degrees wine fridge.
