I use an FCE4800 in flower only 3×3 area. I love the light and the results. It doesn’t produce too much heat and from what I’ve read it’s very efficient. The led diodes are spread nicely with great even coverage. Hanging the light lower than 14 inches has caused some leaf fading so I keep it 16 inches or more. The only problem that I’ve encountered is that the Mars Hydro app completely sucks. The basic timer part of the app works fine but setting up scheduled events etc. Does not work. I’ve contacted the company and they were unable to help. In the end, all that I need is the timer function anyway. You can also hook it up to other controllers like AC Infinity controller 69.
