@jmystro hey mate how’s it going?
I have a question, it’s basically for all, but you have been “solid” with me before.
Here goes:
I fucked up my timing, I usually mark the dates in my calendar and log my nutrition ratios, light cycle etc…didn’t update it this time and it’s fucked things up.
My RUNTZ MUFFIN is nearing the end, so at a critical period, a lot of effort can be ruined if I make the wrong choices.
I have been flushing her for a week, she is still bright green, all trichomes are cloudy and there are plenty of them, but bud structure is immature and flower hairs are 90% yellow.
FINALLY THE QUESTION.
Should I give her some base nutrition (N and P) for a couple of days over the weekend then start the flush over or just continue with the flushing cycle?
I am currently flushing with some Terpinator© and a little top dress of epsom salts.
What would you personally do?
Still very GREEN, as you can see from the image.
Image taken using white light not the light from my HPS.

Never top dress salts. Epsom salt always needs to be diluted in water. It’s a soluble salt. Not all salts are soluble though. Like those with a calcium bond. During the last few weeks of flower the plant certainly doesn’t need much nutrition, especially nitrogen. Unless you know exactly why you’re using something, do not use it. Adding this or that near the end is a mistake. Just water it until harvest. The plant looks like it has plenty of stored energy to finish.

@jmystro thank you, brother, I knew you’d come through for me with some relevant wisdom.
I’ll just keep flushing right up to the finish line now, no matter how long it takes.
Keeping a close eye on those trichomes and flower structure.
Muchos grassy arse!

@jmystro fucking typical though, I use my flower for pain relief and could have done with some….NOW.
Oh well, it will taste and hit that much sweeter, i need those amber trichomes for the pain and spasms.

You can grow the flowers under perfect conditions and allow the plant and the trichomes to mature at a similar rate. This is ideal for weight and potency. You don’t need to mess with the plant’s growth to speed up trichome maturity when you can get the trichomes amber and full of CBN during or even after you’ve dried the flower. If you increase temps during the grow it can speed up the interactions inside the trichome but affect growth. Heat and light degrade trichomes. Terpenes and other compounds in the trichome act as solvents to break down cannabinoids over time.
