All I know is there is *so* much you have to control with this style that to me it seemed really difficult compared to Organics. But it does look like a style that if you can master it you’re going to be an expert at all sort of plant stuff that I wouldn’t be doing organics. The knowledge required is just another level in a plants needs and deficiency diagnosis. You’re going to get good at that!

Also from what I read rockwool has stupid drainage so you likely can’t over water it. Its just going to drain out.

Just to put it out there. It is possible it is a PH issue and that prevents uptake of nutrients.
So people saying its nutrient issues are on point, But its usually due to PH issues. I made a post showing my Lemon Balm doing the same thing. it got put in a tent that was too hot and the VPD went way out of whack and the stems purpled up and all those leaves died off pretty much.

Colors from what I’ve been told come out through cold temperatures. So if you want colorful flowers and your Cultivar has a color in its name. You can bring it out that way.
This will also change the flavor/composition of the buds of course. I’ve had friends say they don’t like colorful buds due to their effects.

I’ve grown from seeds only but I’d like to know more info about making clones happy 😉

A couple UVA based bug zappers I leave on 24/7.

Welcome to where we all grow. *chanting in the background* One of us, One of us.

What made it all click for me was reading the pulse grow guide and getting the VPD chart calculator. Mostly the calculator because all the charts you see online are in F and I need C to have it make sense. Otherwise its just some correlation of data that doesn’t make sense because what is 70F? I have no idea, I can’t reference it in my brain, its just a number that is meaningless to me, But 26C means something.
Ahhh being Canadian in what seems like a largely American field LOL

I’m going to have to get some mosquito dunks and start running water with one of these in it to kill the larva. I’ve got the stickies for the adults and the zappers. Which tend to audibly tell me when something has been removed. Nematodes to kill the larvae don’t seem to be working for me.

you mean 3 letter right? 🙂

Nice grow room for sure!

Nice training! Love it!

Show me your plants daddy? 😛

Great. Thanks for the read. I don’t even know where to get clones locally… Other than the Photo Period seeds I have that I can take clone branches off if I wish to do so. That is for the future for sure!

A friend told me that it was possible for pests to carry diseases or fungus on them to introduce it to your plants. I run autos so I’m very wary about harming my plants via defoliation and creating vectors of entry. Also those wounds sure put off the smell. You defoliate and all the plant juices get in the air and will attract more pests if your variety has smells that those pests like.
Mine puts off smells that the boxelder beetles seem to love. I’m constantly doing physical surveying for them on my flowering plant.
