I’m no expert but to me they look pretty cloudy. I don’t see amber but that depends on what effect you would like from this, If you want more sedative wait.

Or harvest a bit now and a bit later to see which you like?

@Dude How are the other two seeds going that we did not see sprout?

    Has there been any updates?

Did the sprout generate any new leaves?

I use a convection toaster oven. Not what you asked for but it works well. However it does smell up the place when done.

I think the one with the taproot is ready and the one without is not. I’m going to get to setting the medium up for the one with the taproot and get it transplanted. I’ll put a mini dome on it from my Aerogarden supplies until it pops out.

I was trying to suggest this to you so you could get the experience of medicinal effect and how the different chop times affected you medicinally. I guess I was not clear and there was a misunderstanding on what I meant.

I’m glad you like the idea though.

Just don’t butcher it. I guess I wasn’t clear but I was trying to suggest this so they could see what each stage of plant progression provided them in terms of medicinal benefits.

Nothing wrong with waiting for a more experienced growers input. Admittedly I’m not super familiar with this part since I’ve only done it once and sickness in my plant forced my harvest time.

I do know Amber trichomes are a sign they are dying. For some reason that’s when they get more sedative.

It’s something to think of for sure. do you want day time or evening bud?

Awesome! I got the micro dome setup with the Aerogarden Sprout lights going on. The lights worked well for my previous sprouts so I trust them. 😀

Does this mean you should sift the pollen with bubble bags or something? I’m interested in knowing more about how to do this as well.

I know about Stem coloring being a potential cause of PH imbalances as well but this can also be cultivar dependent. It depends on if it is just streaks of coloring or deep in the stem. Streaks are OK but Full stem is bad.

This makes me wary if I try a small scale breed of coloring stems in the phenotypes, It could make diagnosis more difficult.

This I learned from you today. I’m sure this knowledge will be useful in the future.

Aww. Sorry to hear you have to take down your grow. I just started growing and I definitely feel like I enjoy growing more than smoking and I have medical. I tend to find that once I started to grow I just want to smoke my own bud.

I had a lot of issues with medicine being inconsistent in terms of the effects provided so I needed to learn how to grow.

I love seeing other peoples grow too!

I definitely was not trying to float it. Literally gave it a shot glass and it floated while the water sunk and I had a moment of panic and just calmed down and re-buried it. 😀

Not sure if this comment was for me or not, If it wasn’t just disregard.

Its always super exciting to see the seedling has popped. I hope the other two pop as well.

In your experience do you think its best to have the seeds in a warmer temperature or the same temperature as any larger plants you may be running? I’ve only done grows of 1 so far so I’m not sure on this, I can setup an entirely separate area in a dome if needed. Which I’m thinking may be the best option is having a seedling dome over in this room with my weak lights running on the seeds.

I am following the germination advice of the company from the first seeds I got. It came with a nice little case and they suggested the paper towel method by folding it up and having it fit in the case. Its a black light tight casing so perfect for germination. It suggested between 25-28 so I put it on my studio monitor speaker that generates decent heat in my bedroom with a hygrometer so I could track its temps.

I’ll definitely be keeping these cases as germination cases in the future because it sure worked well, I put the seeds in the case Thursday at 10:53pm. One was ready to plant yesterday and the other seems ready today. No plant pops yet.

I’m not sure if I planted the seed deep enough because I planted the tail down and the seed is just below the surface and seems to pop up a bit when I watered it. I think if the root takes hold and grows more it will be fine.
