Harvested, washed (three bucket method), hang dry took 5 days @ 74F and 50% rH, dry trimmed when MOISTURE METER read between 10-12% moisture in center of buds for a PERFECT dry and cure every time. Immediately went into Grove Bags and into a beverage fridge @ 57F. No Boveda packs because the Grove Bags keeps the moisture perfect at 60% rH. No burping because the Grove Bags off-gas oxygen to prevent degradation, while retaining terpenes, as well as retaining moisture/weight inside the bag. Two weeks in the fridge is perfect…four weeks is even better.
The taste, the smell, the effects, and smoke are all on the same level as the bag appeal your lying eyes sees here.
But don’t take my word for it. I just have actual data everyone here can use to stop the guesswork… OR, you can continue to believe people who tell you to wait until the stems snap. Lmao 🤣
(which stem? The smallest ones? The biggest ones? How much should it snap? How many decibels are produced with the sound of the snap? Do you just take chances every single harvest until trial and error finally gets you to the perfect stem snapping technique to dial in your dry? Seems very scientific. Yeah, that’s not bro science at all.)

That looks phenomenal!

@scottyreal IKR! But I keep having to defend my process. According to some on this app, this weed must not be any good because it had been washed before drying.
Also, I must be a “new grower” because I use a moisture meter to get exact moisture readings from my drying buds instead of waiting for my stems to snap.
Scotty, you really have to stop believing your lying eyes! 🤣 Can’t you see this weed is no good, and I must be a novice? There is no way I know what I’m doing…right?

although grove bags maintain humidity at 60% , wouldn’t adding Boveda packs only help pull or add moisture to the buds if needed? genuinely curious

Don’t need boveda packs, due to how the Grove bags work, as long as there isn’t an overwhelming amount of moisture left in the buds before going into the bags.

@adamb925 If you follow the explicit instructions Grove Bags give, you’ll first buy a moister meter, then you’ll use it to dry to a perfect 10-12% moisture. Then, bag the buds and you’re done. It works so well because the dry was to specs.
No need for humidity packs when the bag will keep the perfect amount of moisture in.

Glad to see another washer. I do 3 buckets just with Zymes or Zerotol in the last bucket. Amazing how much crap floats off.

Don’t tell people in this app. They will say you are ruining your bud or you’re losing all the good stuff.
I haven’t heard of the product you use. I use peroxide and baking soda in the first bucket (1cup ea.). The last two buckets are just rinse water.
Yes. After the first time I washed, I vowed I would ALWAYS do it once I saw all the nasty stuff that comes off
