Fastbuds auto mix. Day 74. Just a few more days…

any idea what was in the mix? I’ve considered it for $20, not a bad deal considering 420fastbuds have decent auto genetics. at least for the older, more stable stuff.

Nope, just the picture on the site. None of mine looked like those though. I’ve been through a few of the five packs so far and none really looked the same either. The last of those is coming down in a day or two. It took a few weeks longer and grew about a foot taller than the rest. She has a nice skunky smell while all of the others were fruity. Most are yielding around 2-2.5 oz with my current setup. I’ve been going light on nutrients because that’s what they say about autos but I think I’m going to dial it up a bit and see what happens. 😀

Most I ever got on an auto was 3.5 oz while on a photo I got 5.8oz. I like photos. Autos are a fun novelty but harder to grow and get right compared to photos. Even if you grow a photo @ 12hrs of light, it will still give more yield. I love autos in the summer because the ac unit leaks SO much light. I don’t trust it with photos

Most say they are easier. I seen a post the other day saying autos are for lazy growers. I disagree with both. Running a ton of different strains is fun for me. A lot of them have different demands and I spend a lot of time with them. As a new grower I think they’re great for learning the basics. Also, I worry about something going horribly wrong 4 months in and starting over. My longest auto so far took like 80 days with the fastest around 60.

I wish. I never had any auto finish before day 90. Most go about 110-120 days. Which is only 10 days faster than a photoperiod. The photo will have more dense buds while the auto will have more fluffy buds. It’ll look the same but weight wise, the photo should have more weight. But I can be biased. I haven’t grown the best genetics when it came to autos. I had a whole 5pk of GSC auto just crap out on me. I had autos from Fastbuds that didn’t germinate properly. Always the most issues with autos. Never any issues with regs or fems photos but I also grew solid genetics for the photos. The Humboldt is the first ever name brand auto I’ve ever grown and she’s as big as my 5.8oz white widow. So, I’m super curious to see how much she yields. maybe I’ll be retracting my statements on autos.

I haven’t had any germination issues so far. 100% so far from seedsman and fastbuds mix packs. Like 30/30. I did have a weird mutation with one from fastbuds, I almost pulled it but it ended up putting on almost 2 oz. She has been my favorite so far, super grapefruity. I recently popped a 5 pack of gelato og from seedsman and all 5 seem a little off. They were a freebie so we’ll see…

I just ended up getting a bum pack from fastbuds the one time. I got it replaced and all of them germinated but that one pack was just really weird two of the seeds shot the roots upwards instead of the actual plant.
Today the Sweet Zombie is on day 80. Was supposed to be a 42-56 day flowering cultivar. She’s easily got another week if not 2 to go. I’m not sure how they determine these flowering times but I have yet to ever have a plant finish in the specified time.
