• For you guys and gals looking for something to water your plants while you are away for a few days. I took my AC Infinity self watering pots and modified it to accept a 30oz water bottle to allow a few more days before watering. It will give me 5 days before refill.

      • Interesting. Could it in theory be connected to a reservoir?

        • @GuppyGirl The way this one works is gravity, the cap of the bottle is submerged an inch under the water line in the pot, as the water drops below the cap gravity pulls the water out of the bottle until the bottle is empty witch is about 2 or 3 days and then the pot empties as normal. There are 4 holes in the bottle cap.

        • Can these be used outside do they have say 5 gallon ones also u use bags or plastic ?

          • @looplife I have seen 5 gallon ones before and you can probably rig bags or plastic up. It’s just gravity fed.

@looplife these are made to work with fabric pots. They use wicking line in the reservoir to wick water into the pot.

i am pretty sure I saw they have an xl version for up to 10 gallon pots. I am trying the 5 gallon versions which will also accept three gallons. They provide enough wick line to cut 3 and 5 gallon sets of wicks for all 4 bases.

no clue how good they work but I’ve seen other creators use them before.

after looking into some pot bases the pricing is very close to a basic raised pot stand I figured give them a shot. Good luck!
