Been so super busy lately. Finally got my FIRST breeding/pheno hunt started. Yes yes I’m only doing 4 plants because that’s all the room i have 🤷♂️. Thankfully, I know some awesome ppl. She allowed me to use the windows in her study to get my hunt started. These are some lucky plants with a million-dollar view outside the window. People pay thousands of dollars a month just to see New York City and I’m tired of it 🤣🤣🤣
I’m planning on having these there for the whole month. Hopefully in about 2:00 or 3 weeks I’ll be able to take some cuttings and I’ll get those into 12 hours darkness So I could probably sex them. With any luck all four will be females. If I have males, I might do some pollen collection. Planning for the future starts today!!
Another fun find. There was already a blue dream that had sprouted in the pots. A few months back I made a sprouted seed tea for my blooming plants with all the blue dream seeds from the hermed plant. Apparently some of those seeds survived the blender they survived months in the dirt and they survived 3 days of being soaked in water so that they could sprout….. Man nature really finds a way…

I still need to figure out how it is that they make seeds as well as stabilizing genetics. Got a long way to go before I have my own seeds. I will have cuttings and clones though. I hope I get at least one good performing male so I can keep it at my friend’s house. She’ll watch over it for me and I can go there to collect pollen and then freeze it (that has its own challenges since it can’t get wet and traditional freezers are pretty moist). From what I understand, if pollen gets wet, it deactivates it.
I’ve bred my own tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries. I want to breed my own bud and learn how to make feminized seeds. For ppl like me where space is a premium, reg seeds are such a pain as well as taking up so much extra time and resources. Slowly but surely, I’ll have my own unique beauties

I want some end game #5 x Grandpa’s stash #6 genetics from Ethos to breed with. I only have 1 seed left and it’s a year old already. She’s gonna get planted soon and I will be taking clones for mother’s.
