All businesses that drug test should switch to a mobile impairment testing app. An app that can detect an operators level of impairment before they operate. Businesses can then switch from traditional drug testing (a small subset of impairments) to impairment testing (a fullset of impairments). Now the business reduces the impairment risk and no longer need drug testing services, while employees are free to consume outside of operating hours. A win win scenario for businesses and employees.
“The global drug testing market size to be valued at USD 11.7 billion by 2028 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.9% during the forecast period.”

I hope things change for these drivers. My stepdad is a long haul driver and gets tested all the time. He’s actually home now for a week vacation and will definitely be tested when he goes back. It’s BS. It’s crazy that they finally legalize it here and he still can’t smoke… Also I see no reason he shouldn’t be able to park his truck at night and unwind with a joint. That job is bad enough already, living in a truck 3 out of every 4 weeks. Dealing with traffic, drunk and distracted drivers non-stop… These guys deserve better.
