Venus Fly Trap from lowes just opened up its trap for the first time. Currently Elmer Fudding it in the kitchen Hunting for “Gnat Wabbits…” Put a banana peel on the counter and I’ve posted up behind the kitchen table. Some may say it’s unfair to use bait when hunting wild game. I would lean on the side that the topic is in need of a deeper discussion. Damn, I should have brought a drink for this. Could be here awhile. Got cottonmouth like a sumbitch. Wish I hadn’t cleaned the kitchen yesterday….

Dude you sound just like me and my wife except we hunt ants. This our first fly trap but we’ve ordered blue ones now and by next summer we should have a trap house.

🤣Trap House. I won’t turn y’all in. Mine came with a “Pitcher Plant” also. Think that’s it popping up next to the “Venus…” I am building a greenhouse and want to litter the thing with meat eaters as part of pest management. Just learned how to find Praying Mantis nests is the wild. Gonna implement them as well. Anyway, DNR came thru hassling me. I had to move my stand to the garage. Tagged out before I finished setting up… Good luck with your thing!
