2 months agoGrow Talk Did anyone else get in on the pre order for the Terraform 7 from AC Infinity? I bit the bullet and didnt think twice. I like the idea of being able to control the inside of my tent with one piece of equipment..It seems the price has scared alot of people off..but the math in my head I came up with ,for my needs,this product saves me more in the long run..To control my lung area, I would have to buy, essentially, a commercial dehumidifier or build a designated room and still need a dehumidifier and an a/c unit..Does anyone else fall into this category, where temperature and humidity are almost impossible to control without extensive remodel? What measures did you take to get the inside tent environment under control, even though the outside environment was out of your immediate control?

I decided to convert a fully finished basement room into my grow area. Now I have much better control than I did in the tent.

My basement is completely unfinished roughly 1000sqf..half the basement has concrete floors the other half is dirt covered with plastic..I intend to build a room but that’s down the road a ways..

@hillbilly-bearded what state? I’m in Illinois. I suggest you build out a series of spaces that can be made air tight with their own air intake and exhaust. I think you need 4. I’m putting up mylar right now to approximate this in my room. When it’s done, I’ll post pictures. 👍

That’s way more excessive than I can manage..a 4×4tent is all the space in the world I need..it’s all just for personal..one run every 4 months will more than get me through..and I still gotta keep it as discreet as I can..some of us are medical only states,and still get punished for growing..

That’s awful! Yeah, I do have 4 medical patients in my house. It’s nice here, they don’t bother us.
