Instead of spending $25 on a small bottle, i went halves with my friend and we got a gallon of the silica and the cal-mag. The only 2 liquid nutrients that i use in my grow. Now we’re set for the next few years on both 🙏👍

      • A friend and I both wanted to try the new Adv. Nutes powdered A/B but didn’t want to get sideways with out respective others, so…

It seems to be a fair product and I can make up my mind without, well, you know!🤣

        • I’ve never used advanced nutrients. Matter of fact, I’ve never grown using bottled nutrients. I tried once and for a month the plant didn’t grow. So I aborted and added worm 💩 and dry amendments. She bounced right back and I got 3oz off her. Never tried using bottled nutrients again.

I do plan on trying again. I still have the GH trio in my closet. After the lilac diesel finishes, I’m gonna use my ExperiPOT to give liquid nutes a try again.

I added them to a raised bed soil (😮) from Walmart, in November. Shockingly I grew two SLAMMIN’ autos following the DGC and Scott. I grew an OG Kush in a soil composition with Advanced’s 7-8 botttles and got equally impressive results. I’ve branched out to near everything except DWC but I do I grow strawberries and greens all winter on our kitchen walls thanks to Vivosun’s wall mount tube Hydro setup thing.I’m onto the flood table with canna and will be doing burning the grow room with veggies this fall and winter as well.

            • If I had the space I would be doing anywhere, organic, hydro and everything else. I’m only limited by the amount of space I have. That’s why I feel in love with the no til living soil techniques. I did similar grow styles to Jeremy from a build a Soil and coots mix with some tips from Dr Elaine Ingram. I was struggling for a bit until I realized I wasn’t asking enough calcium. Since solving that issue, each grow has gotten bigger and better. This Pound Town is going to be over 5oz for an auto that’s 🔥🔥

          • I did want to try the Canna line of nutrients. They have the A/B bottles. I already use Coco by Canna as my go to Coco coir. Testing it as a base for living soil (traditionally peat based) So far I’ve gotten great results with the Coco but there’s some challenges.

            • @TerpyTen I’ve had amazing coaches man. Canna nutes can really exacerbate a problem if you’re not on top of it. I was terrified to get going but it’s been pretty easy. Just have to watch the details. I grow in a bit of everything and have tried some things that I shouldn’t have!🤣 Coco and their system is amazing. I open a tent or door regularly and say “Shit! I’m doing this?!” It’s given me more confidence and the time to really dig in on other steering techniques too.

              • I didn’t have coaches. I was afraid to YouTube it Google grow videos and info. I started on grow weed easy forum using a VPN from Canada when they legalized to keep myself safe. Now that’s stuff had relaxed, I’ve benefited from growers on YouTube, forums, as well as products like Recharge, NLS Flower Power/Original and overall just SOLID replicatable results.

          • What are you growing in? Soil?

            • Yes I grow in soil. I use organic dry amendments but I’ve found over the past year that these 2 additions to my soil mix has really 💪💪 beefed up the girls. I use 1ml silica per gallon(way under the recommended because I have D. Earth which is about 51% silica when broken down) so I don’t need much. It’s about variety and accessibility of all nutrients at all times as the plant desires.

The cal mag, I only use from the time I flip for 3 weeks. Make sure the stretch is accompanied by the calcium it needs for strong growth.
