• Would anyone by chance be able to recognize this spider? And if so, is it any danger to my plants? The best pic I could get of one before I accidentally scared it away. There’s usually a couple of them, sometimes one will be around a bud sites but usually they coccoon a fan leaf blade around themselves or be sandwiched between 2 blades. Definitely not spider mites, these are much bigger than that. Might get a crab spider every now and then too.

      • Need a straight shot of one of them dead but belly up. Then IDing it should be fairly easy.

        • In Pakistan spiders are looked at as cannabis security they are all good they eat the pests u don’t want

          • @Truthiswisdom yeah I figured if anything they would probably help keep other pests away. I just don’t want webs all over the buds. I doubt it would hurt anything in the end and I’ve definitely put way worse things in my body than some spider webs.

          • Spiders will not eat your plants but they will spin webs. I wouldn’nt let one on my plants.

            • @jmystro their webs aren’t very big so I’m not too worried about that but any I find around a bud site are immediately removed and/or killed. I monitor and inspect my plants on a regular basis, they don’t seem to wanna go away so I guess I’ll just have to keep their presence to a minimum.
