I was just watching the last vid about grow room setup. You were talking about the need for a dehumidifier. I have an AC in the room where my grow is and my humidity runs between 30~40 percent most of the time. Is there an issue with low humidity?

Yes, you’ll want that higher for best growing conditions. Read up on VPD to know the best range for the temps you are at.

But becareful following VPD chart. 60-70% in veg an 50% flower is a good level for me. That’s temp from 80-74 the entire grow cycle.

No way you grow autos very big at those temps. Unless you’re not running LEDs I guess.

@frogslayer I hate growing autos. And I’ve only ran LED. If you’re referring to the pic I posted if the 12 autos, I had a few packs and I’m going out of town for a month. Just wanted to burn through the packs and see what happens. With the grow dots on them figured it was a lot easier than a buddy trying to sex a tent that I flip right before I leave.

I don’t “hate” autos lol but I’ve seen so much better results from photos.

@tgreeneryfarms I just didn’t want my buddy having to change light settings. Plus when I get back from the month on west coast I’ll only have 2weeks left. I’ll be broke for sure so it will come in handy. Save me a little money. Biggest I’ve got off an auto was about 1 1/2oz

Yeah, I keep hearing about that VPD thingy. Haven’t looked into yet. I don’t want to fool with a humdifier so I will find some other way to increase humidity.

Remember it’s really really wet, like rain forest wet, where dude lives. Here in MN the house AC is enough to lower the humidity but a humidifier is an absolute must in the winter.
