      • Ever do dry sift presses? I never press flower again since I pressed sift the first time. Tinashi (sp?) was on an old episode explaining the dry soft method.

        1. freeze the dried herb
        2. sift (I use bubble bags used for making bubble hash)
        3. put sift into 25 micron bags
        4. press with parchment paper at a low temp (I like 181).
        5. It only takes about 30 seconds for a full press. The finished product is amazing! (Color is better too)

        • @Unk_Curleys_Cannabis_Emporium I do press dry sift after trimming, great advice, try 165° 😋. Ultimately I decarb and grind these pucks up for a glycerin tincture I really enjoy making 😎

          • @turbo YES! If I’m not lazy, I’ll do super low temp press for a minute or so. 165 is actually my mark for those. Makes the best tasting rosin. Normally, I’m rushing and I do 175-180 to press it quick and get it in my system.

          • Always. once you try with dry ice there’s no going back.

            • @mrnabisco I used to use dry ice to make hash, but it beats the herb up and you end up with too much leaf contaminants in the end product. It was harsher than smoking flower to me. This method works without getting the contaminants. Just throw the bag in the freezer. The trichs will fall right off with minimal agitation and much less plant material in the end product.

Skip the dry ice and do it this way. I guarantee you will never once go back and get dry ice.
